What is Trade Nottingham?
Trade Nottingham aims to tackle the credit crunch by bringing local businesses together to support each other and strengthen the local economy.
Our unique matching system helps businesses to find local suppliers with whom to buy, sell, trade and barter for products.
We will also be expanding the site to allow members to tender for goods and services and aim to extend our services to local charities and community groups.
Why Trade Locally?
The benefits of sourcing products and services locally are profound. It is estimated that if 100 companies in Nottingham sourced just one service from within the city for a year, it would keep £5 million in the local economy. There are also huge savings to be made by bartering goods with other local businesses as well as a reduction in transport costs, CO2 emissions and packaging.

What's next for Trade Nottingham?
We aim to present Trade Nottingham as a vehicle to raise awareness of local charities and community groups to facilitate a tigher collaboration between local businesses and charitable organisation. We will continue our policy of promoting all organisations equality regardless of size and status.
We will also be developing online tools for our members to quickly and easily tender for products and services.
